Security is a big deal now for companies trying to protect their assets. Support for security reporting for the Security Patrol has been very limited. Mostly word and hand written notes that are not easily tracked or recorded for historical accounting. Guard tour security tracking.
Current old school security guards record nothing. Without seeing a pattern of security incidents, response is slow. To help with tracking security issues, several companies released a bar scanning software to let them record where the security guards have been and record issues they may run into.
Bar scanners are so limited, you can only record up to 12 or so incidents. They are easily duplicated. Then came the digital recordings. Much more secure, but still have the same issues as lake of incident and only record numeric data. A good step forward, but still lacking.

Don't settle for substandard Guard Tour systems, pick one that is the most reliable, secure and flexible.
